A call to Filipinos who love basketball by heart:

The Philippine basketball team signature campaign will continue no matter what. Though Team Pilipinas has not been approved until now to play in all FIBA sanctioned competitions, we will strive to raise our signatures. This is just one way to show that we filipinos unite for basketball in spite our differences in principles and opinions. And in the event that RP gets the nod of FIBA, we will still continue the campaign to show our support to the Philippine team, the coaches, management and the players specifically. It is better to do something than make nothing out of ourselves. If our national players sacrifice their time, effort and hopes (even their jobs) for the hope of doing something for the nation, why wouldn't we as ordinary citizens? Instead of listening and believing to hecklers, doubters and skeptics of what will really happen to our own Team Pilipinas, why don't we just do something and actively participate for a national and patriotic cause? So I call on every basketball-loving filipino to give their undying support to our own team, our very own blood. Support and actively promote the signature campaign for Team Pilipinas. Remember, people who are working for this cause are working voluntarily for a national cause. So it's just time that we give our own little contribution. That contribution will just be the little 'Promote and Support our campaign to every filipino you know'.
